Hi Guys,
I am just wondering about my kayak. It appears to be a Klepper SL7 slalom kayak but I don't know much about these sort of things it has been out of action since the late seventies. Despite some scratches and damage to the hull it is a good kayak and has accompanied me and my family on many adventures to Scotland along with traveling down the Severn nearly 35 years ago. It is a great kayak. Does anyone know about it? I can't see any reference to it on the internet. Any information would be much appreciated
Thank you

  1. I used to have an SL7 back in the late sixties. They were made under license by the Twickenham Canoe centre, their build quality was very good. The mk1 was updated to a mk2 which had slightly higher volume. I paddled many rivers and competed in many slaloms before selling it to an adult education centre in Wolverhampton. Do you have any pictures?
